ACCC says scams cost half a billion dollars last year

$86 Million reported lost in investment scams, $60 Million lost in dating scams.

Almost half were persons aged over 55. ACCC reported that more men fell for investment scams, and more women fell for dating scams.

Business losses are reported at $60 Million, a 170% increase over 2017.
